Strengthening the Americas Bench Is Key to Driving Results

As Criteo’s Chief Revenue Officer, my job is to grow our business across the globe by helping our customers generate incremental sales through the power of our performance marketing platform. As one of the world’s largest markets and host to a vibrant ecommerce industry, the Americas is of vital importance to our clients and a key focus area for Criteo. For that reason, I am thrilled to announce that we’ve brought on three new leaders that will add depth, experience and strategic oversight: EVP Americas, James Smith, VP North America Account Strategy, Harris Bernstein, and Managing Director Brazil, Fernando Tassinari.

James, Harris and Fernando have the experience and knowledge to deliver exceptional results for our clients, and accentuate Criteo’s culture of performance. As we move full speed ahead in 2015, I am extremely confident and excited about what is around the corner for Criteo and for our clients.

Here’s a bit of additional background on our newest leaders:

James Smith, EVP Americas - James joins Criteo from Verve Mobile where he was the CRO for the past two years – but is a career CRO with eight years under his belt at companies like AOL, Huffington Post and Warner Brothers. He has fantastic experience working across video, social, and mobile and has developed phenomenal relationships with some of the top retail and travel marketers. At Verve, James brought in such clients as Kohl’s, Nordstrom, P&G, Macy’s Best Buy, H&M, Mercedes-Benz, AT&T, Hallmark, Wells Fargo and Target.  James sees great growth potential in Latin America and we are excited for him to be leading the charge on behalf of Criteo in the Americas. James is a graduate of Columbia University.

 

Harris Bernstein

Harris Bernstein, VP Tier 1 North America Account Strategy – Harris is a transformative leader with over 16 years of experience in performance marketing / ad tech and has a successful track record of delivering sustainable revenue performance and increasing customer lifetime value for companies like ValueClick, Ad.com / AOL, and Exponential / Tribal Fusion.  A key driver of his success is his ability to foster a culture where teammates, co-workers and customers are willing to try new things. 

 

Fernando Tassinari

Fernando Tassinari, MD of Brazil – We welcome Fernando from Turn where he was Managing Director Latam. Fernando has more than 15 years of international management experience and a remarkable history within the digital advertising space. At Criteo, Fernando will be focused on driving growth in Brazil and overseeing our current team in place in the region. Fernando is also a professor at FGV teaching Digital Marketing in their MBA program.
